As far as I know, there's no one building BMI's any longer. But there is someone who might be able to help you. His name is Don Fritchie, he can be reached at (501)938-2575. Hope this helps.

Actually I do believe that new BMI's are still being made--Herby Wallace advertises them here. But yes, parts can be had from Don F. I'm going to guess that you are looking for a knee lever to fill your soon to be received guitar out to 3+4 (none of my biz). I got a couple of levers from Don a few years ago for the same reason. They were just fine. I think you will like the guitar for the purpose you got it. Pedals are a bit stiffer than the current high-end guitars and the levers are very light, very little resistance. But it is a decent sounding, decent functioning PSG.

Yes, Herby has a new BMI S-10 listed on the buy-sell. Scotty has several used ones. I bet either one of them could give you a line on the builders.

Thanks, guys! I cleaned the changer and oiled it good and the tuning seemed to be very stable. The pedal action seemed to be improving after an hour of play. Jon, you are very observant! I was a little surprised
at the tone! It will keep me from having to haul my Emmons back an forth from the gig, just to teach. And, if it records well, I might can use it for some sessions. The tone is in the hands anyway, right?

I actually was a dealer for Zane Beck in the late 70's and early 80's. Was a very dear friend. I was a teenager and he was a well seasoned pro in every respect. He talked to me as long as I wanted to. I miss him.

The gentleman that I purchased it from, Mr. Billy Henderson from Arkansas, was so gracious and kind enough to meet me halfway for me to pick it up. Was so nice to meet him and the wife! Great people!
