Guitar Dreams - new book coming out!

Post by Andy Volk »

My new book is coming out (probably in July). It will be available from Amazon, Barnes & Noble and all other booksellers as well as from. Centerstream/Hal Leonard is putting it out as a hardback. The book includes steel guitarists, standard guitarists, luthiers, and even a uke and a banjo player as well as an extensive interview with the Steel Guitar Forum's own Rick Aiello. Here's the blurb and cover.

Guitar Dreams is a collection of interviews, articles and photographs that celebrate plucked string musicians and luthiers whose work delights, challenges, and inspires all of us who care passionately about the back stories behind the music and the instruments we love. Many of these pieces first appeared (some in different form) in the pages of The Fretboard Journal and Acoustic Guitar Magazine while others appear here for the first time. Included are many previously unpublished photographs.

Thanks! Never say never, but there are a zillion people on the forum better qualified than I to write about pedal steels.

Yes, but you need a talent for writing, not just a technical knowledge of what you're writing about, and you have that. 8)
