I'm gonna drop Earthlink

Post by Smiley Roberts »

I'm thinking about dropping Earthlink. They just bumped my monthly bill, from $45 to $50. If I do,I don't know who I'll go with or when I'll be back "on the air". So,if y'all don't hear from me for awhile, you'll know why. Sorry.

For some reason my DSL service with Earthlink (back in 1997, it was the non-AOL) went down from $50 to $30 a month a couple of years ago. Somehow it's tied into AT&T landline service for us--other than the necessity of needing a landline for DSL.

I keep it around because it's The Devil I Know and I don't want to lose the principal email address I've had for 17 years.

The principal email address I've had for years is so compromised now, I've switched nearly totally to free disposable and blockable email addresses.
