Al Szwarc, forum member from NJ

Post by Mike Neer »

I was told by another forum member that Al Szwarc passed away in April. I had only met Al once, but he was an interesting guy with a lot of knowledge about gear, especially guitar synths and old Mutron pedals and things. He also loved MSAs.

Al was 71 years old. Hisobituary.

condolences

Thanks, Mike. I never met Al but this year he helped me by sending a metal plate with bridge for my Melobar 10 string. I wanted to pay him for it but he would not hear of it. Another Forum member wanted to sell me one for $60, which I mentioned to Al. He still refused to take any dough. I brought him back something from China this summer and ws saddened to just now read your post. Condolences to his family. steve t
