Wiz, I've got this stupid little pop-up that shows up every little bit, saying that I've got a Script running on the page, that is slowing Windows Internet Explorer down. Gives Yes-----No choice buttons to tell if I want to quit running that script. I can hit the No button, and it goes away, and my puter runs fine, until it pops up again.....It claims to be from Windows Int. Exp......What is likely to happen if I hit the Yes button??? Any Info will be Greatly Appreciated...
George...

Are you running the latest version of Internet Exploder? If not, upgrade via Windows Update.
Internet Explorer has trouble with JavaScript because it uses Microsoft's own version called JScript. It is the same thing, but different, thus it throws an error where other, more standardized browsers do not.
I believe there is an Advanced Option in IE to turn off notification about script errors. Open your Internet Options and click on the Advanced tab. Your options will be under the Browsing section. Try changing anything to do with script errors, save and click okay.
Personally, I avoid Internet Explorer like the plague and use Firefox exclusively to browse web pages.
