Username/Password and Login

Post by Chip Fossa »

Is there any way to edit a U/P Login drop-down menu.

I have a lot of old names that are still popping up, and they just get in the way.

For example: I joined up with this site called 'Bestcrosswords' and I'm using "seatug" as my UN.
...but one day something went kablooey, and I wound up with the letter "S" in the UN window, as well as seatug. I even tried to re-type the "S" into seatug [ie - 2 seatugs], but it failed.

Check it out.

The same with long lost email addresses when you type-in a starting letter in 'TO:', as in Thunderbird.

All this is seaweed on your line. Time to clean the line.

howdy Chip, what web browser are you using? I use Google Chrome and all I have to do is go into options and then navigate to where I see "clear browsing data" where I can also clear "saved passwords" and "saved autofill form data".

Andy,

I'm using Chrome, also.

I was never quite clear on what clearing the browsers was all about. Now I know.

I'll give it a whirl.

Thanks Andy...you just killed two birds with one stone. :D
