The very first computers were people.
A computer was a person __ a job title.
They worked on the primitive (I think) analog computers.

If I'm mistaken on this point, please reset me back to my default setting.

It had been stored away in the garage for over 25 years when I unpacked it, plugged it in to our old TV and snapped this picture for a collector in Portugal. It worked! He bought it. I got more than I originally paid for it - a much better investment than the PC clone I bought in the mid 90s.
