ActiveX technology is only used by Microsoft based browsers and is potentially so dangerous that many of us only browse the 'net using Mozilla based browsers (Firefox). Note the Google warning in the first quoted result.

:) the lot of "instant fix,repair, fix registry, etc: are crap and most self respecting tech wouldn't touch them with.........YOUR pc....from a distance....with a ten foot stick........lol :D
