Some sites seems to hang then load with 2nd try- why?
For one reason or another- sometimes when I try to load AOL or Ebay from an auction site- nothing happens and it just hangs. If I get out of the attempt and try again- or come at it from a different way, usually things load fine. I've flushed the cache, deleted the cookies, etc. with no difference in results. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

If you are on broadband (cable, DSL, Satellite) Internet, try changing your DSN servers to OpenDNS servers. They may speed up your data flow. Go to www.opendns.com, create an account, then copy the primary and secondary name servers and paste them into your Router's DNS table input fields, in place of your own ISP's servers.
The OpenDNS nameservers are 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220.
Afterward, go into your account and configure stuff to your preferences, especially the Advanced settings.
