Hi Folks: Not sure where to post this, so if this is NOT the right place, just move it to a better section.
Shakey1047 on Youtube I believe is Dave Sedden in the UK. He has some nifty videos on Youtube. I used to be able to convert the resulting FLV to an MP3, but there is a change in the system now.
Up until recently, I would open up the IE temp files after playing the video, and just scroll up a bit from the bottom and look for "get_video". I woiuld "open in new window" and give it a name and suffix FLV and save it in My Videos. I would just used the nifty SWITCH program to convert it to an MP3 which would take about a half second.
Now, in the Temp Files, the "get_video" has been changed to "videoplayback", I can still save it as above, but it won't convert to an MP3.
What's the new secret???????
George

Hi George,
I fully agree that Dave has some nifty videos. Actually it's tough to find niftier steel vids than Dave's
Here's how to solve your problem:
Go here : http://www.xilisoft.com/
and download the Xilisoft Youtube Video converter
This easy to operate program works this way: You have the vid playing in youtube > highlight the URL for the video and drag the URL into the arrow that Xilisoft puts on your screen when the converter is open.
Then you get a choice to "Save As" different formats, MP3 is one of then. Of course, saving in this format will give you only the sound.Try it, you'll like it
