Restoring Volume Control Icon to My Tray?

Post by Jim Cohen »

Somehow I've lost the little yellow speaker-icon that usually lives in the bottom-right tray on my computer, near the clock, and I can't seem to figure out how to restore it. I'm using Windows 2000. Anyone know?

Thanks,
Jim

On winxp and I think win2000 you can go to control panel>sounds & audio devices> and you will see a checkbox to place volume icon in the taskbar. Hope it works. Winston May
