Is it possible?

Post by Daniel Eaton »

What is the feasibility of using one of those video cameras between myself and someone working with me to teach me the pedal steel? If we both had one of those units can they be hooked up so that we could talk to each other as well see what the other is doing. Is it possible and what would be required.

Daniel, yes it is fully possible. I have done it many times, as far away as Norway- Canada
Go here : www.skype.com It is by far the most popular chat/video conferencing program.

Get yourself a top quality web camera and a head set and you are off to the races. It is also free.

They performed surgery like that in a recent episode of "House" using two Macs with the built-in cameras.

They can do anything on TV.

But the video conferencing is not "rocket science" anymore.
