Help! Is there easy website building software for Mac?

Post by Andy Volk »

I signed up with a new web host this week and deleted my website with the intention of quickly setting-up a new blog-type site. I had done all the graphic design for my old site but someone else programmed and maintained it. I want to move to something that's very easy to maintain on a regular basis, add content, etc. and very much WYSIWYG for my aging brain. I installed WordPress on my new host but I don't think I can make it do what I need without learning to code. After three days, I'm totally frustrated and now have no site. Is there any Mac-based site building software that's designed for idiots but still has some design flexibility? I don't want to learn Dreamweaver or Go Live. Thanks.

I searched for free and commercial MAc caompatible HTML editors, and I found this had good reviews and a forum: http://www.nvu.com/

Thanks, Wiz. Just found this myself about 30 mins. ago ... looks promising. I temporarily loaded the old site while I get up to speed on NVU.
