Received via email, this is one of the most bizarre collections of random phrases I've seen. Apparently it was drawn from a software development page, giving it a "techie" flavor that made me try to make sense out of it.

I am a spam fighter and wish to explain the purpose of the garbage text in b0b's email messages. The source code of those spam emails will contain links to the spamvertised websites which will appear if one reads it in an HTML capable email client. The garbage text is there to try to fool anti-spam filters, used by major ISPs, into not flagging it as spam, or auto-deleting it. This (quoted garbage text) is mostly unsuccessful, but spammers do it anyway, as a few will get through. I write filters for MailWasher Pro, which detect and recognize not only spam in garbage text, but also in garbled text and vertical letter messages. The only time I ever see a spam message is when I restore a deleted message to read it's source code and see how it was constructed.
Visit my website for more info about MailWasher Pro and the custom spam filters that I write and update on a regular basis.
