Laptop send jack

Post by Roger Light »

How hard is it to take apart a Toshiba laptop? I stepped on the cable and "jacked up the jack" that I plug into to play music to the PA. It still kind of works but it is loose and scatchy. It also killed the laptop's speakers. I'm not having much luck talking to those foreign speaking people at Toshiba support. I know all it needs is the jack replaced, but I don't want to tear up the case trying to get to it. I took out a bunch of screws on the bottom, but nothing losened up. I hate to just start prying on it. Any help would be appreciated.

Just go to Google.com and type in Toshiba Laptop Disassemble - It'll bring up plenty of websites that'll show ya how.
