Goldwave Multiquence?

Post by Chip Fossa »

Hiya Jack.

I'm kinda directing this question to you, because you have SB AudigyII.

I went and downloaded the trial version of GW Multiquence, and set down a rhythm track and then tried to put a solo on top of it.

I just scanned thru the info, so this may very well be why nothing came out on TRACK 2.

BUT, I read on into the instructions and GW said:

"You must have a full duplex 16-bit stereo card in order to be able to record and play at the same time"; or, a second soundcard.

So my ? = Is SB AudigyII a full duplex 16-bit stereo soundcard?

It looks from my rushed try-out that it isn't.

Thanks ahead, Jack.

I'm not Jack, but I do have an Audigy II sound card. I looked up its specs in a couple of places and they all agree that the SB Audigy II is a Full-Duplex (DAC&ADC) card.

Thanks Wiz. My apologies. I didn't realize you had Audigy as well.

I probably jumped the gun with this post, as I really didn't read and study much of the instructions. Just took a shot at it.

So now, as they say, when all else fails, follow the directions.

At least I know the soundcard is capable.

Thanks again, Wiz.
