I'm thinking of trying out Goldwave's MULTIQUENCE, and in their requirements they say you need DirectX 8.0 or higher.
I found DirectX (not easily) in WINDOWS/SYSTEM32 and tried my darndest to see what version it is; to no avail.
Could someone clue me in as to how to find out what version of DirectX I have?
Thanks all.

Run the "dxdiag" program. Along with telling you what version of Direct X you have it will run a set of tests to see your Direct X compatibility.
You probably have V9.0c
To run the dxdiag, Click Start then Run, enter dxdiag and then click OK.

Thank you Jack!
You never cease to amaze me.
My version was exactly, as you predicted, 9.0c.
Once again, thanks good buddy.
