Video Downloader Problem

I have been using Video Downloader to save some YouTube videos to my computer, but as of the last few days, all I get is 'ERROR' whenever I try to download a file. Is this a common problem, or maybe just my system? Is it working still for anyone else? Any ideas on how to fix this?

Jim, are you copying and pasting the url into video downloader or typing it in? If there's no problem on that end I would try and uninstall and reinstall video downloader to see if that helps. Also I keep getting a message that says there's a newer version available which I haven't tried yet, maybe it works better.

I've been copying and pasting it in. I figure there's no mistakes that way...
