Will it help with speeding up?
Hi there,i have a Windows 98 laptop,that works fine,but the HD is not very big,and it is a bit slow.If i was to use an external HD drive via the usb port could this help with the speed?Thanks.

That simply wouldn't be true if the internal drive is a 5,400 rpm drive and the external one is 7,200 rpm or higherThe internal drive should run faster than a USB connected unit.
