BIAB: Need Error Message help
Lately when I go to print a BIAB chart, I get a message box that says:
"Access violation at address 0040249E in module 'Bbw.exe'. Write of address at 7C55D6BC at: 0040249E"
Can't print. Anybody know what to do?

Don't know to help your problem, but as a last resort You can push print screen and bring it into a a program like paint. I'm sure you know that already, but just a reminder, until you get the real problem fixed.
I had a problem with BIAB 2007 and ended up removing it, loading BIAB 10, then the 2006 upgrade and finally the 2007 upgrade. Time consuming, but it did the job.

Jim, do you have an Nvidia or ATI video adapter?
Microsoft has a known issue with OpenGL applications or drivers causing access violation errors. You might check your opengl file as outlined in this document, and if it isn't as listed, try the patch from Microsoft.

If this isn't your problem, try opening control panel / administration tools / event viewer, look in application and system, see if you can find the exact error and post back.

Thanks guys. I may have to just try the re-install. Tom, the link you provided is apparently just for XP machines and I'm (still) running Win2000. I don't think I have either Nvidia or ATI.
I might just limp along for awhile longer without printing too since my new computer will arrive in about a week and I'll have to reinstall BIAB on that (XP) machine then anyway.
Thanks, though...
