I've found things change themselves for no seeming reason. When I lost all my midi volume I went to control panel and clicked on sounds and audio devices.
I clicked on the audio tab and then volume under sound playback. This brought up a volume control window where you can set volume for synth, microphone etc. In the section marked SW Synth the volume control was set to zero. By moving the bar back up I got my midi sounds back.
Don't know if this will fix your problem, but give a try.

Larry-That happens to me a few times too, until I remember to check the master volume. I reset it up there ,then once in a while it is down to zero again. Beats me why....al:)

Now I wonder why I set Biab to a song in C, the chords show in C, yet it plays in Bb or one tone lower. works on all keys that way. So I have to play my steel in Bb to be compatable. How about that.? Weird.
I can transpose the biab to D then it will sound in C so I can play along in C. But the chords on the screen are showing D. Any one have any trouble like this with this computer program??....al

Al, I believe that you can just click to change the key to Bb (same as the sound) and a box will pop up to ask you if you want to actually transpose the music, and then say 'NO'. This will synch up both the sound and the labeling. Now the whole thing will be in Bb. Then you can click to change it back to C but this time when it asks you if you want to transpose the music, say 'YES' and then they'll both change up to C. Make sense?

Jim and larry, thanks for the info. I did try it and it still wont work. I can set the key in D and it will playe in C. It has something to do with A440 master tuning oand Concert Pitch. I went in and checked it all out. No change. Even if I set the chords in C and the key in C it will still pay in Bb. A whole tone lower. I didn't notice it for a while as I was setting up the chords timeing etc, then when I tried to finally play along with it, I found it was not in tune with my steel by a whole tone.I asked PG Music, and they were very nice and told me various things to do, which I did, but nothing they suggested helped. Imagine that! I even at their sugestion, uninstalled BIAB 2007 and Re-installed it from the CD they sent. Still did it. Any ideas out there that I didn't think of ??? ..al
