Billy;
Please re-phrase your question. I'm uncertain as to what exactly your problem is, with the board's smilies.

If you are trying to alter the size or color of the smilies forget it.

Wiz.
I realise how confusing my post must look,I will attempt to explain more clearly.
when I added a smiley :D all I see as I am composing is a :D and I did not realise that the smiley does not show up until I have sent the message
I have now selected a larger font and I will not know if the size will be altered until I send the message.You shold be reading this part of the message in blue.
I hope this makes sense.
Best regards
Billy
Edit When I press : followed by D I get :D
The font size and color remain unchanged

First type out the text you want, select the text you want to change with the mouse, then choose the font,colour etc. What that does is surrounds the chosen text, front and back with the tags to allow the attributes. The coding looks like this:

Code: Select all

the font,colour etc
