My '66 S-10 Emmons bolt-on p/p was owned by a little old lady who recently died in her 80's. The guitar is affectionately named "Mrs. Reynolds"

My '69 rosewood Emmons p/p D-10 with 9 and 9 is justly named the Tank.

My first pedal steel guitar was a Sho-Bud. My wife named it Budfry.

Oops. I just asked my wife and she said it was spelled Budfrey.

Oh well. It was pronounced Budfree.

"Slider 6": It's my sixth steel. Misinformed kids called it a "slide", plus the name comes from my favorite "after gig" snack. "A sack of 12, please."

I refer to one of my Sho-Bud Pro 111's as big girl but it's real name is Freeman after the late Freeman Cowgar whom I bought it from a little more than a year ago. It was his brother's guitar that he sold after building him a new one.

In the early days, the band and I used to call my Gibson Electra-Harp, the "Harp" and they used to call me "Harpo".

The P/P that i owned was named "Emmo", but she ran off with Dennis Manuel and now resides in an igloo somewhere in the frozen Canadian wilderness.
My current rosewood Legrande i've named
"R dubya", and now resides with me in the white (dog) house, most of the time.

My first Sierra is "Sassyclass" and my second Sierra is, you guessed it "Sassyclass II". I even had that put on by the factory when I ordered my second one.I had a couple of Sho-Buds years ago that weren't deserving of a name. They broke strings faster than I could put them on.

My MSA U-12 is "Dischord" and/or "Discard", your choice. If I keep hitting the first on this tuning, I'm gonna' do the second with it.
