pictures of my new '73 Sho-bud

Post by TRAP TRULY »

Hi Guys,
I just wanted to show you a picture of my new guitar and to thank you for the help you gave me on deciding to get it. I got it from a retired man who no longer played it. It's a 1973 ProII in almost brand-new condition and he only wanted $600 for it.

Click on this link if you'd like to see it and tell me what you think. Image Hopefully it'll be a direct link, but if not, you might have to type it in.

Thanks for your help.

I think you got the deal of the century, Trap.

That is a beautiful hunk o' wood!
In that kind of shape, it's gotta be worth 3X what you paid or more.

I'll give you $650 for it. Image Image Image

You should be sent to the pen for robbing the old man like that. All kidding aside, you got a whale of a deal and that is a fine looking guitar.

Sho Bud must have had a real knack for choosing wood. I have an early 80's Pro III that has beautiful wood grain showing through the red lacquer. It is the prettiest guitar in my collection.

Hey Trap - Glad to see you took my advice! College will be there always. Besides, what can you learn about steel guitar there anyway?

The guitar looks great. Looks like it's about a year newer than mine. You got yourself a deal!

Nice! Nice axe TT! Whoever the "benefactor" is, deserves a round of applause for his thoughtfulness. His "parting" with this beautiful instrument can only be repaid with the hours of enjoyment that you'll get from that Sho~Bud! Make him proud ~ and play it Loud! Image

Great photos of a truly beautiful work of art. By the way who signed the inspection tag? There were some awesome builders at SHO-BUD in those years.
