Fuzz pedal
Searching for advice on a pedal that produces more of a smooth or fine fuzz distortion for steel rather than a harsh distortion..
Any experienced player with help on this subject???

Re: Fuzz pedal
HI Dale. Here's a link to one discussion concerning your question. Seems our own Brad Sarno builds some fx pedals that work well with pedal steel along with other equipment. He would know as he is a steel picker too!

I second the advice.... Brad Sarno's "Earth Drive".

Re: Fuzz pedal
I'm delighted with the Jackson Audio Silvertone pedal, it delivers the full range from squeaky tube warmth to full on Marshall-esque overdrive without turning everything into fuzzy wuzzy, and the added harmonics juice up the B3 organ sounds from my C9 pedal.

Something RAT based maybe? I really like the Wampler Ratsbane.
