Maurice is still my #1 steel hero. Thanks for posting the remembrance, David. I still can't believe that I got to spend a few days hanging out with you guys.

Maurice was a dear friend, and whenever I went to the TSGA Jamboree in March I would go to Johnnie High's Theatre in Arlington on Saturday night to see Maurice play with the house band of which he was the band leader. He was always pleased to see his old friend from England.
