That is correct.
Austin got his start sitting beside me at the Athens GA VFW.
He was like a sponge soaking up everything steel guitar.

I introduced him to Eddie Long and from there Austin took off and that is where he is today, with Cody Jinks.

I saw Austin play at several steel guitar shows in Atlanta, and he's a great player! Austin was part of the show I played in 2010, after I got my Jackson Blackjack Custom!

We've toured with Jinks some and his whole camp are just wonderful people. Hot Rod is a killer player and adds so much to their sound on his Mullen Uni. And he couldn't be a nicer guy! Always enjoy talking steel with him. We're opening for Jinks and Blackberry Smoke next weekend in Dallas at Dos Equis Pavilion, if anyone is local to DFW. Outta be a great show!
