Don't put off that string re-order.

Post by Bill McCloskey »

Those finding themselves low on strings might want to stock up. Talked to my guitar tech yesterday and folks like him have been told by string manufacturers he won't be getting his order any time soon. Two months without being able to make strings has created a backlog. I assume they are still shipping to the big retailers but folks like him are on the wait list.

What could be more essential than new strings?
Many play better than I do. Nobody has more fun.

The Steel Guitar Forum Store was shut down for about 6 weeks, but we're open now and have a pretty good stock of strings. www.steelguitarshopper.com/categories/Strings/

Music hath the charm to soothe a savage beast, but I'd try a 10mm first.

I just ordered from Just strings and the order was maybe a few days slower than usual but I did get it. Might not be a bad idea to go ahead and order a few extra packs.
