Since I didn't get to go to St.Louis this year, I'm wondering if any of your little shops there in your home town might have any little old Harmony or Oahu amps, 8 inch Rola speakers w/6 or 7 tubes? Just wondering....
I need one to get me out of the depression of missing St.Louis and all the guys that did get to attend.

I got a new steel bar from John and Ann Fabian of Carter Steel Guitars. This bar is different from other bars, because it has grooves on it. I got this bar since my standard bar slides around. This bar stays on the strings without sliding around and since I have cerebral palsy, this bar helps me to fret the strings on the steel easier and I can grip the bar tighter because of the grooves. So that was you David who bought all the Ricky Davis C6 sets so there was none left over Image? At least I got me a bunch of spares of the gauges that break most... Then a set of quality cords from Ed Fulawka since the ones I´ve been using until now really stink, a couple of Dunlop "Mini" finger picks from Scotty´s, Neil Flanz´E9 book and C6 chord dictionary, some CD´s: Lloyd´s (of course), Tom Brumley´s "Tom Cattin`" complete w/rhythm tracks and tab, and two rather obscure ones, again from Fulawka: The Bebop Cowboys, some great Western Swing with a rendition of "Almost To Tulsa" that sounds better than the original - wow! and the Mc Coy Brothers who performed some fine sets in that room. Wish I could have bought that black ShoBud SuperPro that was in Scotty´s display room - you know sometimes you come across a guitar that seems to say "Hello" the first time you sit down at it and that one was one of those...
