He's just got that ......touch! And this was 1967.
Biggies like Buddy, Lloyd etc were playing the beautiful steel licks 41 years ago..the same stuff that we are trying to capture now in 2008.

While you're there, listen to Willie's version of the song... he wrote it.

nope, that guitar is black mica, the one on the LP was the Blade ( rosewood ).

It was watching stuff just like that as a kid that made me have a passion to want a black '66 D-10 Emmons. Because Buddy played one on TV. If my Mom were still living She'd tell you how bad I wanted one. Now if I could only play the one I've got like Buddy did his.
BTW, does anyone know who that other Steel Player in the band was. Looks like he was sitting behind a old two-tone Sho-Bud permanent.

I feel sure the guitar in the clip is a wrap-around because of the tone. But I don't think it was the "Touch my Heart" guitar. And I'll stop there.....bb
