Since we're stretching the boundaries a bit, I'll stretch just a little more, into the realm of Sacred Steel.
Sacred Steel history in the Greater Detroit area is as rich as any in the world, with a bounty of incredible musicians, including among others, Bishop Ronnie P. Hall, Calvin Cooke, and Bishop Henry Wayne White.
Toledo, OH steeler Del Ray Grace and his wife, Kelli, have devoted their lives to preserving the legacy and tradition of this exquisite art. You can learn more about Sacred Steel at the Sacred Strings Records Inc. website: http://www.sacredstrings.com/Index.html

Ward-Lenny Kindley-Dick Miller-Ronny Dailey-Chuck Drew-Bernie Scott-Buddy Williams,and yes me--there are more I'm sure, but this is all that comes to mind. I played in that area from 53-till 77--Larry
