Jimmy, I'll start on a list for you. It may take some time but I'll get it done. One thing regarding Jimmy C. Newman's music. Jimmy is a standard on the Opry but his cajun music has been watered down for commercial reasons. I don't recall in recent years hearing a real good cajun steel player on his opry appearances. If you have made contact with Jr. I would ask his opinion regarding albums featuring cajun steel. He probably has played on one or two himself.
