Only on the Day setup are the 1st three pedals "Gas, Brake, Clutch".

The Emmons setup is "Clutch, Brake, Gas."

One night, A lady walked up and said.."Do you need to go to the Restroom?" I looked at her and wonderd why she would ask such a question to someone that she didn't even know. So....I ask her why she ask me that question, and she said.."WEll, I was watching your legs twitching and going back and forth and up and down, and I thought that you REALLY NEEDED TO PEE BAD" Image I nearly DID pee after she said that. I had to explain and show her WHY I was acting Like a 3 year old who just could not wait(To pee, that is) by expaining the knee lever and pedal action. Image REAL CLASSY LADY, SHE WAS.
[This message was edited by RON PRESTON on 01 April 2002 at 06:00 AM.]

I like Leroy’s idea about the 9th pedal for jacking up the steel! I don’t want one on the guitar, but one on the case would be nice. That would probably make it a lot easier to load into the back of my Isuzu Rodeo after a gig! Image Image

Jes 'n case y'all gotta hankerin' ta know, I tune all fourteen strings to E. It keeps it all real simple. None o' that E9/C6 or universal headache. Don't hafta worry 'bout no stinkin' temper toonin' neither! Image

Of course everyone knows that the knee levers are for playing the sharps and flats between the eight scale tones
Actually, that's exactly what the pedals and knee levers do on my F Diatonic tuning! Image

I thought the pedals were used to power the thing-like an old sewing machine or trundle- driven potter's wheel. Image
