I used to wear shorts all the time playing lap steel until my wife took me aside after a show and told me how bad my knees looked from the audience! :oops:

The bars we play,in warm weather long pants sorta look odd..nobody wears em.. whole lotta water on the NC - VA border, 90 % of where we play....

My knee levers cut in a bit on my knees...legs. more comfortable with jeans or spandex....

Here in Hawaii we all wear shorts in the band unless we’re giging at the hotels..shoes instead of flip-flops! Paddles on all my levers.. :whoa:
