I know Curly is so looked up to for his sweeping C6th playing but I too really love his E9th better.

Curly was very outspoken. I remember him playing at the ISGC in St. Louis. Before he began playing, he grabbed a mic and directed the FOH sound man, “don’t mess with my f’ing tone!”

He could be outspoken for sure. I talked to him on his break at a venue in Washington State. He was really "ticked off" with the "Name" who he was backing because the "Name's" guitar wasn't in proper tune. And believe me he was really "ticked off" with language to go with it.
