Rip John Prine.

I got to meet him in Cleveland at a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Tribute to Jimmy Rodgers, it was at the hotel bar where all the talent was staying, and got to talk with John and his brother, he was such a nice, humble man and I was glad to be able to tell him how much I appreciated his music.

Years later I saw him play at The Trenton War Memorial in New Jersey and it was one of the best shows I have seen. It was sold out and after every song he got a huge applause, and just stood there beaming. He was so taken aback by the response, it was a magical night that I will always remember him by.
Regards, Craig

I cried because I had no shoes, then I met a man who had no feet.

Today is tomorrow's Good ol' days

Dear Abby's my favorite along with Paradise which is the only song of his I've ever attempted on stage. I remember once in Orange County California going to a Merle Haggard concert in which John P. opened for the Hag with just him and his guitar. It really didn't go well at all and there was a lot of booing going on. Those creeps didn't have any class at all. John was right up there with Bob Dylan when it came to writing lyrics for sure.............JH in Va.
Don't matter who's in Austin (or anywhere else) Ralph Mooney is still the king!!!
