May you RIP Terry.
I met Terry for the first time approximately 45+ years ago in Hiawassee Ga. when Terry was playing with Mel T. I was only about 20 years old but when I told Terry that I was learning steel guitar, he treated me like a brother that day. We reconnected again many years later. I will always remember his C6th version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" that he played in St Louis one year. That inspired me to work on my own version of that song. I pray we will meet once again....Somewhere over the Rainbow.

Rest in peace
I met Mr. Bethel about 10-12 years ago when he played with Mel Tillis near my home. I was helping with the sound equipment that day. I remember him being such an outgoing person...very friendly...like we had known each other for years. His tone and style was so impressive. I am always reminded when someone like him is gone "Who's gonna fill his shoes?"
