Kevin,You would have had a coronary if you ever saw Randy Reinhard's Emmons. He was with Johnny Rodriguez and wasn't feeling to well that night and he asked if I could put it on stage for him. It looked like it had NEVER been cleaned since it was built but man he sounded great when he got behind it.

Donny, I saw the Blade and it was just a little better than Randy's but I don't have to tell any of you how it sounded.
Cops aren't paid much so I steel at night.

I am starting a re-rod job on a Steel, I just pulled the first rod, ...and I just put on a piar of latex gloves.
This is gonna get a lil messy.

[Update]
This is interesting...
With latex gloves on, I put my finger picks on my right hand over the glove, then picked the open high-G# string, first with my plastic thumb pick , then with my metal fingerpick (middle finger).
Two totally different sounds.
The metal pick made me think the string was dead.

Sometimes I use gloves for loading gear on and off the truck, but setting up the steel? Or playing?
Come on...
