Just got a new set last week and so far they are the best thing I could have done. I did not play with the old ones when practicing at home or with the band, tone was off and they sounded awful. I have worn the new ones with two different bands and have no problems at all in fact they are great. When I bought the new ones I learned more about hearing aids than I ever knew or was told, at least the audiologist was honest with me. If considering them you need to ask some important questions.

Bill I guess everyone has different questions but when I got my first set I never knew what to ask. Now I would ask if the guarantee is 100% refundable should I return them. My first set was guaranteed but when I returned them they kept 500.00 dollars. I chose another shop to replace them because he told me his were just like the first set and was about 500 cheaper. I thought I had a good deal until I return the first pair. I would want to know how many channels the ones I am interested in have. That makes a huge difference. The more channels they have the better they are but are more expensive. This info is not volunteered by the person selling them or at least it was not for me. I have since gone to other hearing centers and that was not discussed. I was told mine were out of date and needed to be replaced but no discussion as to the number of channels but prices were mentioned. Only last week when I got a new set were these questions discussed and I realize that until now I didn't know what to ask.
