Another... City Lights:

Tone? Steve Palousek nails "that sound."

This song maintains uniform tempo, start to finish. a challenge in itself. Steve's inspired playing is so interesting and smooth.

You're right, Henry. The title frame of that video says Steve Palousek-Bobby Dardeman, but Bobby's comment in youtube says it is Willie Kaluza playing steel.

Think Willie playing on it but not whole tune.
haven't seen anything of Willie in 30 years but he is or was a very high caliber player.

I've known Steve since the late 80's. Back around the early 2000's myself, Bill Dearmore, Les Shelley, Bud Harger, and Steve would meet up at Bills place. We set with our steels in a circle and just jammed. Boy did I feel like I was outclassed! But it was fun.

A few years after that I was working for a band out of Bellville, Texas named Nightshift. We did three shows over about 6 months with Ray Price. Steve was his steel player back then. He stood behind my right shoulder when I played. No pressure... it was just all in fun. He is an incredible player.

I wish Dart would give credit where it's due.. He posts lots of video with his photos etc, and no credit to the actual player :(
