I must have a cached link or something .. even if i type it is without the "archaic" www it still starts to load then goes to an error message

Bo, and most everyone using a Windows pc, I think XP has "system restore", Win7 ,8,10 all do , so as another recourse if AV, security software has failed to detect any thing, use system restore to reload an image cached in Windows. Try and find a restore point that was BEFORE you noticed any glitches.....Stormy (I shouldn't have to remind anyone to BACKUP any personal files,pics,songs, etc to a DVD,CD disc, or USB drive BEFORE you restore)
