Kevin Owens ("Taco") has Sho-Bud on his right forearm. Woulda got that if he hadn't beat me to it.
I have the card suit (in red and black) on my upper right arm, under my mule shoe and inside a loop of barbed wire.

I've thought about, but not followed through, with a tatoo of a ruler on my forearm as I'm constantly steeped in projects and hunting for a tape measurer. I was going to have 12 inches marked with the atomic Emmons fret markers instead of using numbers. 12" is just a bit too long and would go too far up my bicep so I've shelved the idea for now.

At my age,- the only marks on my body are GOD given. They're called age spots, birthmarks and bruises. Spent a few years in the Marine Corps but never ever thought about getting any tattoos.

Same here wally. I could never figure out how I served in the USMC and somehow avoided one of these stamps. Probably because there were no parlors in the bush in Vietnam. lol

I'm trying to put a band together for the No Tats Tour a knock off of Marty and Travis' No Hats Tour. Will be steel, bass, drums, and guitar. I've got a good start...so far I have a steel player.. :|

I want a pedal steel tattoo too

Post by Shoshanah Marohn »

I want to get something that incorporates some Beatles lyrics (“All You Need Is Love”) and a pedal steel, in memory of my dad. I've seen some on line that incorporate a regular guitar with lyrics, but not a steel guitar. I wonder if I could make it look good. The steel is so boxy! I don’t know.

If I did a brand name, it would be a Sierra.

The other idea I have is a bright red heart with a steel guitar inside it.

Thoughts?

You guys in this thread have some nice tattoos.

I do believe Bob would have appreciated All You Need Is Steel.

What I think would make a great tattoo is a view of two hands, one picking and one with a bar, playing on just strings, no other parts of the guitar. It represents pedal and non-pedal.

I am kind'a in awe for these tattoos which look like open surgery and you see "inside"... like bionic bones or some gremlin living inside!

imagine your whole back looking like ripped open and all you see hidden "deep in there" is the under-carriage of a fully loaded Emmons PushPull!... with deep 3-D effect.
And the best thing, $3000.oo later... it'll be there for EVER! >:-)

This is NOT advice! just a "hint" of sarcasm... that's all!

PSG's are not the sexiest thing to paint!... J-D.
